We have a date, TouchPads, and more surprises

Thank you for helping me Bridge The Gap, a webOS auction to help my brother in law fight cancer. Your support means more to me than I can say. I'm constantly amazed by the passion of the webOS community. I have some new updates to share with you.

First of all, we have a date! The auction will begin online on Sunday, September 15th. The auction will continue until Sunday the 22nd. Our goal is to raise $10,000, so that gives us two full weeks to spread the word before the auction starts.

I am also excited to let you know about some new auction items that were just donated. An old friend from webOS Developer Relations (think puppies) has donated a never used AT&T Pre3. Combined with a few new Pre2s recently donated we've got plenty of phones to auction off.

4G TouchPads x 2

Next, two 4G TouchPads. These are each brand new and in the box, with 32GB of storage. They are the 4G kind so you should be able to just pop a SIM in and have them work (though I have not tested this personally).

New Palm VII

A sneaky person also donated something you have probably never seen. A brand new, still in the shrink wrap, Palm VII! The future of wireless internet, circa 1999, can be yours!

Palm Pre Art

And finally, for the cherry on top, this sneaky individual has also obtained some rare artwork that was inside the Palm headquarters. Relive the dream of the Palm Pre in your very own home with this beautiful large canvas print.

Thank you again for your support. Please share this email with others. Tweet it. Post it. (G Plus it?). We need to get the word out to as many people as possible. Tell everyone to join the list so they will be notified when the event starts.
